WW2 German NSDAP (NAZI PARTY) POLITICAL LEADER’S BELT BUCKLE

The circular Political Leader’s buckle was introduced in 1940, gold-washed aluminum belt buckle features a spread-winged eagle with a wreathed, swastika in its talons. Encircling the eagle is a wreath of oak leaves, which the eagle’s wings extend into, to the reverse is an RZM, “Reichszeugmeisterei” (National-materiel-control-office), logo, alongside of which is “M4/39” for maker F. W. Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid.
Very scarce Early aluminium 1st pattern "Left facing eagle" belt buckle 1936




This rarely encountered 1st pattern WH (Heeres) Pebbled style aluminium belt buckle with left facing eagle. An attractive non maker marked 'two piece' construction, the 'front plate' is firmly attached to the buckle with four un-touched prongs. The piece with only minimally use, shows no damage whatsoever, the detail is nicely preserved and. This type of buckle was mainly used in combination with the army style 'going out' i.e. dress tunics (i.e.. 'Waffenröcke') and was only used for a very short time frame in 1936 (after which it was replaced by the normally encountered 'right-facing' models) and now days rarely encountered. These early pattern i.e. left-facing, WH (Heeres) belt buckles can easily be graded 'very scarce' even more so when they come in the 'aluminium based' version as this example.
German Youth DJ 'Deutsches Jungvolk' type belt buckle, Hitlerjugend



Attractive youth buckle DJ Deutsches Jungvolk silver nickel-chromed belt-buckle, non-maker-marked, never been cleaned nor polished and only shows some dust and/or staining as to be expected. 'DJ-Rune'-sign that shows some minimal scratches on its front. The piece originates from an older belt buckle collection that was compiled over many years and was acquired by Mario @Hiscoll.com. untouched and just moderately used becoming harder to find. The Deutsches Jungvolk in the Hitlerjugend was the separate section for boys aged 10 to 13 of the Hitler Youth organisation in Nazi Germany.
Early pattern German WH (Luftwaffe) enlisted-mans NCO type belt buckle




This is an attractive and actually unusually encountered, early pattern showing a 'down tail eagle, typical aluminium, just moderately used condition. totally void of a makers mark, it comes mounted onto its specific and actually not often encountered!) so-called: 'cranked catch'-set-up. early-type Luftwaffe buckle which is an attractive specimen.

German WW2 DLV / RLB NCO'S buckle 1938, with leather tab



Nice example of the 1st Pattern RLB ( Reichsluftschutzbund ) “civil defence” buckle.
Pebbled brass with silvered finish, Correct black swastika within a laurel wreath with RLB 1927 pattern, political style national eagle above. With it's original leather tab with makers details and 1938 date, Maker details are not clear but its a Nuremberg maker.

WW2 German early aluminum RAD belt buckle Assmann & Söhne

This early aluminum RAD belt buckle is a nice issued piece, with its original leather tab, Unit marked and loads of character. The buckle is the standard issue type worn by enlisted men and NCOs of the Reichsarbeitsdienst, with the spade, swastika and wheat RAD organizational emblem. It’s made of aluminum with no damage. The front is very clean; the reverse has a slight, even age patina. On the reverse, inside the shovel, the commercial type stylized “A” maker mark of F. W. Assmann & Soehne in Ludenscheid is visible, as well as the date “36.” This aluminum RAD belt buckle features an integral catch and functional prongs, and is complete with its original brown leather tab, plus a leather protector is fitted often seen on Police buckles. The tab is also maker marked F. W. Assmann & Soehne in Ludenscheid & dated 1936. This aluminum RAD belt buckle is an attractive nice early example.
Early NSDAP Sympathiser belt buckle DRGM




Nickel silver finished buckle with celluloid swastika centre, Early pre 1934 buckle worn by NSDAP sympathisers and also the SA/HJ. In great condition no damage to the celluloid and colours still bright, Some minor silver finish loss which is common in these buckles. DRGM stamped to the rear of the buckle.
WW2 Small size SA EM Buckle early example, NSDAP Jugend





This small SA EM Buckle is a nice and desirable early example. This buckle type is also associated with use by the NSDAP Jugend, the forerunners of the Hitler Youth. The body of the buckle is made of brass. The brass shows a light patina with expected age toning and some tiny marks. The center of the front of the buckle is adorned with a typical SA style roundel, with a Nazi eagle and swastika emblem. This roundel retains nearly all of the original silver finish with great detail. This type of SA Youth Belt Buckle is 2/3 the size of the Adult equivalent and fits on a small belt.
The reverse has two solder joints used to affix the roundel are untouched. There is no maker mark, as is typical for these. In excellent condition.
These belt buckles are becoming increasingly hard to find youth belt buckles are more difficult to obtain in this format. Size of buckle approx 50mm x 38mm
WW2 German DRK Aluminium buckle Red Cross 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz'




Very attractive enlisted-mens NCO, with maker 'Ges.Gesch. 1'. Retains almost all of its greenish-silver-toned finish and comes in a just minimally used, it does show some minimal age staining simply caused by usage. The buckle is nicely maker marked with (patent-pending) designation that reads: 'Ges.Gesch. 1', which impressed markings are both visible on the back of the buckle.

WW2 1938 Heer other ranks Belt with Aluminium Tabbed Buckle




The Buckle is in very good condition with light wear only to the eagle on the high points. Complete with it’s early leather tab stamp with a partially discernible maker mark and clear 1938 date. All stitching is intact.
The belt is less impressive. Shortened and with a maximum closed length of 32” it is difficult to tell if this is a late war Belt or if the inside tongue was lost during shortening, Buckle adjustment now via a number of punched holes. The closure latch is pressed steel and it appears a number of girls names have been scratched into the leather on the outside.

WW2 Small size SA EM Brass Buckle early example, NSDAP Jugend




Small size Youth Brass Belt Buckle, has fine detailing. SA (Storm trooper/ Brown shirt) Youth belt buckle, made in two pieces and soldered to the reverse. This type of SA Youth Belt Buckle is 2/3 the size of the Adult equivalent and fits on a small belt. All Brass construction with steel claw and pin to reverse, gilding still remaining to the claw part. To centre we see raised National Eagle standing upon laurels encasing emblem, leading onto a second boarder with half laurel finishing. These belt buckles are becoming increasingly hard to find youth belt buckles are more difficult to obtain in this format. Size of buckle approx 50mm x 38mm
WW2 German DAF Labour Front Belt Buckle




A single piece of die struck aluminum-alloy. The obverse features a centrally placed DAF emblem, which consists of a centrally placed mobile swastika that is surrounded by a cog wheel and has four domes, one to each corner. The reverse is clearly maker marked "RZM M/4/27" (Overhoft & Co., Lüdenscheid). The reverse shows a soldered aluminum catch and steel prongs that are in excellent condition showing minor oxidization wear.
German Youth DJ 'Deutsches Jungvolk' (RZM) belt buckle, Hitlerjugend





Prewar piece stamped from brass. This pattern of buckle was worn by members of the Deutsches Jungvolk, a Hitler Youth organization for boys aged 10 to 14. The front of the buckle retains nearly all of the original plated finish. The “victory rune” emblem of the DJ was not plated so that it clearly stood out against the nickel silver. Some minor plating loss on the reverse edge from use, you can just make out the RZM logo. Unfortunately the soldered catch is missing, this is a lovely buckl in very good condition, overall sort after buckle.
Early WW2 Period German N.S.D.A.P. small Sympathisers Swastika Belt Buckle




original scarce early WW2 period German Hitler Youth or N.S.D.A.P. sympathisers belt buckle, circa 1935, This early type of rectangular plated pressed steel belt buckle, depicts a raised Swastika set in an oval setting. The top section is stamped with D.R.G.M., the German patent-pending-designation mark, no makers mark which is common for this type of buckle.
It is not in excellent condition, but is structurally sound and retains a lot of its bright plating but has areas of light rust that has lifted the plating.
